Steve has over 20 years of Pharmaceutical and Animal Health experience with a focus on securing the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain and optimizing the Animal Health customer experience through white glove customer service and logistics network optimization. Steve has served as the Designated Representative (DR) and the Drug Distributor Accreditation (formerly VAWD) representative for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

Most recently Steve has led the Elanco Animal Health (NYSE: ELAN) customer service and logistics teams in North America responsible for over $1.2B in animal health products. Steve is a proven leader with a focus on people and results by utilizing the Insights Discovery and Myers-Brigg's Type Indicator (MBTI) assessments along with the Team Development Life Cycle approach to build highly successful teams with proven results, minimal turnover, and highly engaged employees.

Steve’s teams have led Elanco Animal Health through 6 acquisitions in areas of Order to Cash, SAP, Customer Service, Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory Management. Steve also has experience with USDA, FDA and DEA Controlled Substance along with Suspicious Order Monitoring and high value security of CII products such as Fentanyl.

Steve has Procurement logistics experience with vendors such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, XPO and delivered over $20M in savings while serving as the Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) Logistics category leader. Steve has also led procurement categories of Global Security, Printed Packaging Material and Anti-Counterfeiting technologies.

Steve served on the Eli Lilly and Company cross functional team that restructured the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain after a $60M drug heist https://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/pharmaceutical-theft. 

Steve was also responsible for implementing FreightWatch (Acquired by Sensitech) to secure the supply chain after the theft. In addition, Steve led the Procurement of team driver Truckload lanes in North America. 

Steve is a graduate of the Elanco Animal Health Accelerated Leadership Development Program (ALDP) a 2-year program dedicated to innovative leadership utilizing principles such as the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX), Situational Leadership, Coaching for Success, Coaching for Improvement and Crucial Conversation Skills.
